Christmas Turkey

Okay so I've had a few people saying they'd be interested in some ideas for Christmas dinner outfits... Obviously everyone celebrates in different ways, but I always think Christmas should be casual (i.e. no heels) but festive! (Not that red and green jumper you're thinking of though- not like i don't love festive jumpers, as long as they are done right)
So because of my current obsession with sequins, they must obviously be included.
Outfit number one:
A baggy top is necessary for all of that food you'll be eating...

Reiss Destiny T-Shirt V-Neck £55

Adding some festive spirit with a heavily embellished skirt, combined with black tights to keep warm, and casual black pumps...

All Saints Erodes Skirt £165

Valerina Velvet Ballet Pumps £18

To accessorize I'd stick with a bronzey/gold necklace or a blue plain style to bring the tones of the skirt out
This necklace is from Topshop, and I'd actually prefer the brown one they do (in exactly the same style) but unfortunately they havn't put it online yet, it is in Highcross Leicester's Topshop for those eager to see though. So pretending this was in the brown colour, I'd add one gold cuff to seal the deal

Throw on a coat or cardi and you're all set!

Outfit number two:

Vera Moda Sequin Knit Jumper Black £22

Markus Lupfer Sequin Layer Skirt £140 Sale price
Again teeming with a pair of plain black tights, and black pumps. Due to the masses of sequins in this outfit I wouldn't accessorize, but if you really are a jewellry addict, chuck in a silver beetle ring or something similar :)

If you arn't a fan of skirts, opt. for boucle shorts, or simply turn the embellishment around and try a sequin top with plain black skinny jeans.

This would be perfect with some black skinnies, a gold cuff, and some beautiful

Valentine Glitter Ballet Pumps from topshop.
